Dedicated and passionate about short film, The Edinburgh Short Film Festival has brought the best contemporary Scottish, UK and International short film to the Scottish capital since our inception in 2011.
Now BIFA qualifying and with a focus on working closely with Scottish-based filmmakers and creating international partnerships.
The ESFF is now in its 15th year and developing new ties and links across the globe as well as new workshop and masterclass opportunities for it's 15th edition in October-November.

Based in London, MiraBan specialises in promoting underground cinema and independent, diversity-driven, international film events. Our passion for bold and thought-provoking cinema has led us to showcase some of the most innovative and exciting independent movies from around the world.
Our annual event, the MiraBan UK Film Awards (MUFA), supported by the BFI Film Exhibition Fund in 2024, highlights under-represented, new, and experienced filmmakers, connecting them with film funders and distributors. Recently, we launched the MiraBan Independent Film Fund to help make short films and ensured valuable partnerships to create great opportunities for both cast and crew.
