This prestigious recognition celebrates Monica’s distinguished career as one of Italy’s most acclaimed actresses, whose work has profoundly influenced cinema and theatre.

In tribute to this achievement, in collaboration with our festival partner Adriatic Film Festival, we have been delighted to screen Girasoli (Sunflowers), an out-of-competition LGBTQIA+ drama and feature directorial debut of Catrinel Marlon.
