In tribute to this achievement, in collaboration with our festival partner Adriatic Film Festival, we have been delighted to screen Girasoli (Sunflowers), an out-of-competition LGBTQIA+ drama and feature directorial debut of Catrinel Marlon.

MUFA highlights under-represented, new, and experienced filmmakers, connecting them with film funders and distributors. Recently, we launched the MiraBan Independent Film Fund to help make short films and ensured valuable partnerships to create great opportunities for both cast and crew.
