Support the next generation of independent British and International film talent through a fund designed to empower new voices with bold, distinctive ideas. The Pitch Fund+ awards a cash micro-grant to a filmmaker with a standout short film or series concept in development, production, post-production, or ready to enter distribution. All applications, reviews, and the jury process are handled by us at MiraBan, so the sponsoring company can enjoy both visibility and impact without the administrative burden.
This initiative directly addresses the funding gap faced by early-career filmmakers. Many are working-class, from the global majority, or from underrepresented backgrounds—groups we prioritise and connect with through specialised institutions such as the Film and TV Charity. With sponsorship, we would be able to offer a wider range of complementary support to disadvantaged communities.
